The notion that there could be a more sleep inducing muffler than stock Harley touring mufflers is humorous, but of any, those would be the stock Gold Wing ones.

theres a reason you don't hear Goldwing riders reving the motor... lol

parts are easy to find. hell the dealer still sells a lot of parts. it's funny looking on ebay at new parts. they just buy them from the dealer and mark up to stupid $$$$ but a lot of people still don't know better

maybe some of you Harley riders are old and in domestic partnerships and need loud pipes to drown out the noise you partner is making

Okay, you guys want the real truth?

Here's the truth...

We do it because when we stop at a light, we get socially awkward. We're not on the phone, we're not texting or talking to a passenger. We don't have a radio to listen to. We can't check to see if there is food in our teeth or play with the climate control..

We rev our engines cause we've got nothing else to do.. And sometimes you feel like a putz waiting for the light to turn green, so we crack throttle.

the 1200 is running great, the belt loosened up and I had to adjust it but like you said the top mount could have been made better, will have to talk to you about that. the 1500 needs new tires and front brakes, I can't do tires
