So the boys... Nasty & Sgt13 wanted to cut out the cats because of heat and sound.

We stripped off Nasty's exhaust

Got it all welded back up. This is the outer side of the exhaust so you can't see it once the heat shield is on.

Then Nasty wanted to hear the no-cat open headers...

We are very happy with Nasty's stock muffler sound... with no cat it sounds the same as the V&H slip ons with a cat. So when we did Sgt13's cat delete with his new V&H slip ons sounds GREAT and perfectly loud.

Sgt13 put on a Fuel Moto billet air cleaner backing plate and a $200 license for my Power Vision. So Fuel Moto set him up with a tune and I used my PV and put it in his bike. Sgt said the throttle was much quicker response and I quote "runs like a raped ape".

Personally I think Nasty should run without mufflers, sounds awesome.

Mufflers are over rated straight pipes are all you need. Its the only way to not hear the noisy ass valve train

the best part is that once its reassembled there is no visible evidence that you modified anything.
