I've been trying not to ride my bike too far because the tires on it are horrible. I've finally decided on a set of tires, Continental Milestones. This week / weekend I'm hoping to get the wheels off my bike and hopefully next week go get a new site installed along with some new tubes.

WOO WOO!

You can put them on yourself... not that hard really... once you know how to do it. I've done it on my SM a few times.

I'd just rather have the shop do it. I've never tackled doing the actual tires without a machine before. lol

Don't they need to be balanced after mounting?

Bob, I was just saying pull the wheels and just take them to the shop, not the whole bike.

telecast... I never apy for balancing anymore... just use the beads.

Oh I know. I was talking to Berto.

Hopefully I'll have the wheels off this weekend and new tires on by next weekend. And I'll also be using the beads.

Oh yeah they work GREAT. I have put them in everybike I own for years. Got almost all my riding buds to do so as well. I get mine from www.lowdownchopshop.com (http://www.lowdownchopshop.com) I know the owner Jake. When you do order some... buy an extra set of bags just in case you need em for a spur of the moment tire replacement. When you go to put on a new tire you simply drop them in before blowin the final tire bead into place. EASY EASY. If not, and the tires are already on the bike, you pour them thru the vlv stem.

I'm using them for sure on the new tires.

Yikes! Is that like, one at a time, or are they small enough to use a tube or something? Sounds like a chore!
