Im going to be helpin to pass these out to the needy this sat so if you know of someone in need give em the phone numbers listed for more info and I can help with directions if needed!

Others First is giving away 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to those who are in need this Saturday November 22, 2014 from 11am – 4pm in the parking lot of St. Michael’s Churchlocated at the corner of Chamberlain St. and Edison St. inthe City of Pontiac.
Others First, Inc. is a Michigan 501(c)(3) non-profitcharity that was founded to help those in need in both our local communities and across the country. Others First isrun by a volunteer Board of Directors who will be on hand to help in the distribution process.
The meals being provided by Others Frist for Thanksgiving consists of 1 large 12lb turkey, 2 cans of corn, 1 can of green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and even a box of Nabisco cookies for desert.
Rick Frazier, consultant for Others First, states “The funding for this Turkey Outreach came as a result of generous people donating their cars to one of our very successful car donation programs, including Cars Helping Veterans and Cars to Help Kids.” Anyone interested in donating a car can visit the organizations website atwww.OthersFirst.org (http://www.othersfirst.org/).
Others First is working with several Pontiac-based charitable organizations, as well as the Pontiac Mayor’s Office, to distribute the 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Specifically, Others First is distributing Thanksgivingdinners to the Oakland County Veterans Group, Grace Centers of Hope, Power Company, Welcome MissionaryBaptist Church, Catholic Community Response Team, Pontiac Housing Commission, Lighthouse, St. Damian’s Catholic Church, Free Life Temple, and VFW Post 1008.
​ Lew Elbert, of Catholic Community Response Team (CCRT), along with Others First representative, Mr. Greg Yatooma, are the Event Coordinators who arehandling the facilitation of this outreach.

Yea Its def a feelgood thing I got a voucher for one of my neighbors that is having a hardtime right now and I thoght she was going to jump thru the roof.
