(an inside joke for some, I always took shit for paying for a detach kit for the tour pack, but I never took the tour pack off)

I love the bicycle Hi-Wheeler planter hanging on the wall. And the RG looks pretty sharp too!

I rode it around for a couple of errands yesterday and today. Definitely lighter on the ass end, and even *sounds* better.

I absolutely need to get Seatmaker to fix up this streetglide seat I have. Needs to be narrowed and foam added, its like sitting on brick pavers.

Forget what I said earlier Keith, looks WAY better with the pack off. I guess it may have been the angle of the first pic combined with the fact of never seeing your bike with the pack off.

Yeah...have him put gel in both rider and passenger part of the seat....makes a big difference....I have gel in mine and it's like day and night difference from when I first got the stock street glide seat!

Unless you ride with a passenger or your a chick (judging by what my wife "HAS" to take with us for a simple overnight, not to mention what a weeks trip gets us), I guess I don't totally understand the need for it on... Perhaps I'm IGNANT... ;)

I love your bike btw (and owls)!!! And it looks WAY better with out!

Thanks, Chain!

I think for me it just was a great man purse. :) But I think laziness plays a part here too, so if I just make sure I have what I need for a given ride in the (otherwise empty) right bag, I'm good to go - even on a long trip I doubt I'd need it because I can put pretty big bags on both sides of the passenger backrest (once I pick up a rack).

Thanks Chain. With both bags full (rain gear, warm weather gear, tools,a change of cloths and shower stuff + a cooler) I use my TourPac often. I may have to rethink what I carry.
