I almost smoked a deer with a truck and travel trailer RV last week - wouldn't have been pretty but we would have been eating good

I seriously thought that car crash deer aren't that great for eat because of the trama damage by the blood. Any truth to that?

Yes the meat is ruined. A 3,000 lb vehicle (just pulling out a rough number could be slightly more or less) hitting it destroys the meat and then when it hits the concrete it destroys the other side. Maybe, if you are lucky, you can salvage the backstraps. Roadkill is some real hillbilly down in the holla type of eating. Pick out the rubber bits and road rash, add some franks and git r done.
