Picked up an 03 superglide. Bit older than i wanted, but it only had 2400 miles on it, and it was just super clean. Looking forward to getting some miles in with everyone this summer.

I haven't thought about what mods until I ride it a bit. Polishing up all the aluminum and chrome right now. First thing probably is going to be forward controls or highway pegs so I can stretch a bit. Still debating if I'm going to keep the anniversary edition covers on it.

Seems like theres a lot of that year floating around. I know Al has one, and someone else on the last twc had one as well (sorry cant remember names well). I bought this locally from a guy in southgate, dont think he had it out much. He bought it from Biker Bobs, so i had them pull the service history for me to get an idea of whats been done to the bike. Stage one was installed there new, along with the gold key anniversary package. I intiially thought i might change out the screaming eagle II mufflers, but they actually sound pretty decent.

Ive got it cleaned up pretty good. Still working on the aluminum which is always a pain in the ass. I had the new metzler 888's put on yesterday and I have a friend with a lift helping me change out all the fluids tonight. Should be good to go by the weekend.

I might be interested in swapping you my forward controls for your standard ones. Forwards are a bit of a reach for me (and my son, if he decides to ride). Let me know if you might want to do that.

I have the SE II mufflers on both my bikes... they are decent. Sound better once they are broke in... aka some of the packing gets burnt out.

Hey Al, Id like to check out your bike to see how they feel. That was one of the concerns I had was with the reach. Im 5'10 so im not super tall.

Bike still looks in great shape. Clean. Personally, I would black out the chrome on it and then throw some saddlebags onto it. The ones you see here are not too bad. I looked into getting shock cut out bags and they look way better on the bike http://www.vikingbags.com/harley-davidson-dyna-super-glide-motorcycle-saddlebags.htm

can i ask how much u spent ?

Nice bike, I don't care for the anniversary paint scheme. Can I ride it ?
