Yup, we are going for number 2 of the year.

Who wants to come and play along? Hotel is $40 per night per room, so $20 if you share. We would roll out Thursday round 4am. Get there round 3pm. Maybe get in 100 miles before the sun comes down. We ride 250-400 miles per day depending which way we head.

This is a great ride and you will never look at riding the same way.

*warning* these trips are very addicting...

So, which ones of you guys are in?

What do you want to know?

The hotel is $40 per night... Thu-Monday is what we have planned.

July 16-20 are the dates. The group, i have ridden with them since 2003, they are all great guys. Some are fast, some are not, everyone is respectful of one another. If you are slow, they will wait for you at the next stop sign or turn. No one will try to push you EVER... you ride at your own pace.

We ride a few hundred 2-400 miles daily... then hang out at night in the hotel. You would have one of two SMs on this trip.

Most people split rooms to save on cost. Tell me what I'm missing here if anything.

You will have more fun there in one weekend than here ALL season... that's why I go.

Hit me up on PMs if you have any other questions. But you will LOVE these trips.

I wish but that is a kid weekend. I already asked her to switch enough weekends with me.

Oh well.... let's go for a local ride then... also, Gingerman has open track days on Wednesday from 530 to 830... $60... let me know if you want to go... I will try to make it in the next couple of weeks.

what time would you leave to go to gingerman?

I would figure no later than say 230-3pm... That would make sense, right?

not sure i never been to a track but autocity. do they have a list of requirements for safety wire?

06-19-2009, 09:33 AM
I think it's the basics for most trackdays... no coolant, so water wetter or something similar and safety wire is a good option.

I take the lights off, since it's easy on the DRZ, but I've seen people just take them over...

Have good tires and an oil change done before is what I recommend on the side also.
