Keeping in mind that 1) I hate money and 2) I dont know when to stop, I've been lusting after this Road Glide headlight "halo" mod.

Basically you take LED strips you can get from AutoZone and put them around your headlights. Normally its done with stock headlights because there's room around the outside, but now its being done with Daymakers.

See http://www.roadglide.org/showthread.php?t=133201

Its hard to tell from the pic in this thread, but it really is a cool mod.

Some other threads with this mod:

Here are a couple of pics of my headlights now

As I said in the email... just say NO. Halo's are way way over done and they serve no other purpose.

My $0.02

I think your lights with the matched mean mug look tits how they are. Do less is all I have to say. If you want to blow some cash on LEDs do some accent lighting. Or you could by me some day makers.

I would do smoked covers on the front turns

I'd leave them alone Keith. Dual daymakers on a RG look awesome alone. Wouldn't put a ring around them.

The problem with asking this question now is it is already on your mind. I think ur like me so u mind as well just do it and take if off later I'd u decide it is too much. We don't debate long. Execute. Remember u hate all of our cash so I don't see an issue.

Also understand that the really "cool" looking ones that have all the housing lit up... are regular lenses, not daymakers.

I would leave it the way it is Keith.....in my opinion, I think it would be too much...
The way it looks now...it's got a mean look to it! which looks killer!

I looked into this more. Yes do it. If you don't like it with the running lights on.......don't turn them on. It looks sweet with the daymakers off for sure. I'm going to put them on my golfcart now. My lights use to much energy at ralleys with the motor isn't kicking out any juice.

Yeah, been thinking about that

If your covers are the same size as mine I have them for you. I bought the kit with 4 lenses instead of just the front two. It was $5 more. I think I like the bright red on tail for safety reasons.

Oh, cool!

On the back, the colors are dictated by law. If turn signal only, they must be yellow. If run/turn/brake, they must be red.

I have to say no on this one... Your bike looks badass enough as it is now. Just a thought though if you really do hate money, you could toss a few hundred my way so i can do dual projectors with angel eyes and halos ;)
