Took a lot of hard work to get my bike out.....

But I got about 30 miles in, enough to warm it up pretty well. Temp was 200 when I was riding.

Man did it feel GOOD!

I saw one yesterday and decided I had to get out this week. Was planning for Friday after the rains, but with the snow coming I figured it was now or never. Well now or not this week, lol.

With a high of 15 tomorrow and possible 1-3" then a high of 20 on Thursday with 3-5" by this weekend it will be freezing again with a possible 3-8" of this bullshit white stuff.

I seriously thought about it on Sunday. I mean I was actually headed to the basement to charge the battery. If only I could just hear her fire up just 1 time - just 1 hit pookie and then I will quit (tomorrow). I was fiending big time and working in the garage on shit I didn't want to do did NOT help. But I thought better of it. If I start it up now and leave the battery in then the battery will go dead. Plus way too much salt on the roads and a shit ton of vehicle swallowing pot holes around me. I must be patient. Once the snow melts, the rain falls and washes away all the salt then I will make my move like a cobra attacking a lion who is unsuspecting. The epic grand entrance into the 2014 riding season. I am calling in sick that day and riding my ass off.

I rode to work at my Lincoln Park store yesterday. Round trip about 25 miles. Nothing spectacular, but man, it felt good riding home in the sunshine after 6 pm!

I got out yesterday as well! Worked till 6.. and did 75 mph down dixie.. of course traffic lights were out for about 3 miles so it added an extra 20 minutes to the ride home... got home ran down and changed cloths than went to pull the bike out of the garage and it was dead... :fu2: But finally around 8 I got the Busa running and was out for a good hour having fun and freezing my nuts off :D so enjoyable!

I put grip warmers on the R6 over the weekend, so Monday she got to take me to work. I couldn't find my good gloves and wore my thin wind catchers. The grips were absolutely amazing with as cold as it was at 6AM. My trip home on M59 was almost a heavenly experience as literally people just kept moving out of my way!!!
