The general shape reminds me of the Moto Guzzi California 1400 ( http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/motorcycles/california-1400-touring.html ), which I kind of dig. But the fenders on the Valkyrie are hideous.

That said, 2014 is going to be an awesome year for bikes. So much nifty and new stuff coming out!

Looks like they took styling from the Triumph rocket 3 to me.

At first glance this new Valkyrie reminded me of the Rune Honda put out years back. I actually came really close to buying the Rune before I had the VTX. I think its a cool looking bike with plenty of power......in flat black of coarse!

This is the first time in years that I am genuinely excited to go around to all the dealerships and sit on bikes. I dont think any manufacturer has really put out a bad product.

Even this which is ugly as sin has got to be a beast

I think it looks sportier than the old one.

The original was a good looking bike, just a few too many carbs. The Rune was a styling disaster. The new bike should sell just as well as the Fury... Its all good to see variety, but my God who styles these things? The new small/midsize Hondas look great (500s,700s) but the big bikes look like their trying to hard to get noticed, sort of like some of the Victory big bikes. These are all solid machines but the styling is just over the top. Your opinions may vary, This is just mine.

I'll be looking at this at the IMS show this year.

Ya, Your right, I bet they must look better in person. Its probably best if I reserved judgement until I see it in person also. This is a big year for new bikes.

Agreed. An IMS gathering is a must.
