problem with any tool like this is similar but worse than any sears tool is the ability to exchange a broken tool.

Craftsman doesn't do that anymore - they stopped that years ago. They also now make everything in China. Fuck Sears and fuck Craftsmen.

I can still swap craftsman hand tools in the store...

A friend of my brothers worked at a recycler , they got all the old craftsman tools, they would grab what they wanted and return them.

Kobalt had been growing on me as a good economy tool.

That's what I use anymore.

I JUST replaced a broken torx from Sears not 3 months ago (I stripped it out), who ever told you that is full of shit!!!... Usually between me(pretend like I know what I'm doing), my dad (race cars) and my FIL, (he's a Millwright) a few times a year we take back something.

Good to know. Typically I buy tools now from Home Depot or Lowe's. I got a very sweet Bosch cordless impact / drill last year. The impact is priceless - use it for everything. And the Lithium Ion is 1,000x better than Nicad. Holds a charge forever. Not like when I had my pos nicad drill I would go to use and it was dead.

It is such a multi-fucking-function tool. Anything from working on the bike to working on a god damn remote control toy. It just fucking works, period. I rarely use hand screwdrivers for anything anymore. And lithium ion is the cat's ass. Charge it every now and again and you are good to fucking go.

I love my brush-less Milwaukee lithium ion 18V drill and impact... the charge lasts FOREVER!!
