The correct answer is NO. Maybe HELL NO. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL NO. And it ain't over now.

So motherfuckers let's go on a fruit ninja fruit frenzy and ride like a motherfucker. I am WSL'ing this weekend sometime. Petro up and hammer down.

This thread really has no point. Thank you for reading now GFY.

Its never over. I've ridden at least 1x/month since Feb 2011.

I've have not been riding that much since we got back from Hocking, don't know why, maybe cause riding in Michigan sucks.

I rode all last winter on the Super Glide, but I'm a little hesitant to do that on the Ultra. How do you handle the salt issues Kosher? You wash that thing every day or what?

Well, I try to pick my spots. Often you'll get a warm front that brings rain, and on the back side its starting to get cooler but you can get out for a short ride. Hell, last January there were a couple of 60 degree days, you think I'm going to miss that?

Generally after a long period without snow the salt dissipates, and I do usually wash it after I've been out, but technically that doesnt get everything.

I'd bet Kosher is the mileage king this year. Or possibly Bombdog or Chain. Those guys have managed to do several long trips I think this year.

I'm sitting at just about 8,200 miles myself. I'm trying to hit 10,000 before the year is out.

Bike is pretty close to 14K, got it in November of last year. So I still have a month to rack up some miles before the 1 year ownership mark.

Trips this year, in chronological order
- DC in April
- Chicago->Milwaukee->UP June
- TN->Atlanta->FL in July
- Sturgis in August
- Hocking Hills last weekend
- Several trips to Gas Man Garage (dont laugh, its a 90 minute round trip)

Definitely not ready for the season to end, which was part of my motivation to buy the Ural; but after my ride in to work this morning I realized that it's time to invest in some heated riding gear.

Naw, ill be riding all the way into December, as long as the snow holds off and we stay in the 40's or 50's. Hard to take the sporty out much past that, just too damn cold with no wind protection. Probably heading out to Hell this Saturday. I haven't made a trip out to the damn site inn yet this year for a burger and a beer.

i haven't had much time to ride this year. mom's doctor pretty much put her in a rocking chair so most of my weekends are filled with doing chors for her and week days are filled with doing chors for me and sometimes i have to help the gf at her house

I've been riding into work this week (shift starts at 0730) and it is a bit chilly out there not to mention the fog is rediculus, but the afternoons are absolutly perfect when I get out at 3:30. it is about a 40 min. ride from home to work so it is a nice little ride. I would have ridden today, but I have to pick my son upon the way home to get him to soccer practice and for the life of me I can't keep him awake on the back of my bike for more than 10 mins.
