Destination - Thumb area
Location of start - Walton & Perry at the Rite Aid (2480 Lapeer Road Auburn Hills, MI 48326)
Time of meet - 0800
Time to leave (kickstands up) - Between 0815-0830
Duration of ride (Miles & Time) Not 100% sure to be honest...
Estimated time of return - It will be a ALL day ride, we will say 1800 (6:00pm) to be safe
Man Ride or Mixed - Mixed
Eating or not - Of course... not sure where though
Any special gear recommended - might want to bring rain gear... we do live in Michigan...

Plan on taking M-24 up to M-25 than to Caseville, than around the thumb and back

Me and Owl have been trying to set up a ride for the fall now for a few weeks... but due to the leaves not wanting to change or weather we've had to postpone... looking at the forecast for this weekend Friday and Sunday look pretty shitty for riding. Saturday maybe be our best chance, unless a tornado touches down me and Owl are riding.

Hope to see others riding with us... but if not, just means more chances for us to with the POTM ;)

Man - I wish I could join you guys. Looks like a blast. Unfortunately, I have staffing issues yet again at the shop, so I'm stuck working. It's not always good to be the boss!

Owl and myself had a great ride today! The weather was perfect, the only rain we had was a lite mist that lasted maybe 10 minutes and that was on our way home. The total trip was 281 miles. We had a great lunch and found gas in Caro for $3.19 :D a few pictures and possibly a movie to follow :)

It was a great ride. M24 in Pontiac to M25 and around the thumb.Cloudy but no rain with 70* temps. Saw some color change and the big lake. Hada small delay in Lexington, roads were blocked because of a barricaded gunmanissue, and lost about 10 minutes due to rain (drizzle) in Kimbal. ThanksJustin.

GasMan “they” saidold woman, and I think the article really meant to say only an old woman wouldn’tride out on that pier. It was a fun ride. Next weekend we should haveBaggerDave take us to Port Hope for a Leroi burger.

Looks like you guys had a good time. I bet though the colors won't be really changing though for a couple more weeks. Late October is when it the leaves really start to pop.

Dave is working on a TWC ride for up north for this coming weekend.

Not true... I was just up north... colors in Saginaw county are near peak, around West Branch the green came back in a bunch, but then again up by Grayling and further north it was again near peak. Another week or so will be peak then drop off.

Had to make sure it got up quick.... seems like people like that area for riding.. especially for those in the oakland county area.
