Looks Saturday I will be working on my bike, oil change on Norms, oil change on Bombdogs, and RJ's front fork fix.

I guess it's a full on wrench day... starting about 10am...

If you don't know where it is and want to stop by... PM or text me...

If I don't work Saturday I may be able to break off for a bit and stop in. Sorry Al, I can't make the ride as I got tickets for the Michigan and lions game. Gonna be busy with football this weekend. But I know where ya live gas, I may have to harass a neighbor or two if I make it. What time you gonna be out in the garage?

We had a great day today. We had a very long day of wrenching. It was great to see so many faces. I truly appreciate everybody's involvement. We worked on 4 bikes and got a ton of stuff done, fixed, changed, or oiled. Another great day in Gas Man Garage. God Bless all of you!!

Some of the guys around... it was a constantly changing group of guys...

Caveman had his son over during the first half of the day... here they are working on my front forks.

Is it cheap child labor in GMG or just good father teaching son or a future wrencher sucking up knowledge... I think all of the above and I LOVE IT!!

Got the new Ness fork lowers and other older bits put together, got the forks hung, and the new front street glide fender mounted.

Got the wheel back on.

We figured the fender needs somin... We came up with a pin stripe from the bottom of the fender, up the side, cross over the front tip and mirror down the other side. I will have to be in touch. I know just the guy to have him match the stock pin stripe.

Got the new outer fairing on, daymaker, and LED windshield trim all mounted. I will get a small vid of the windshield lights in action... they are cool!!

It is really coming together and I'm getting excited!

I can't seem to get it put together fast enough.... if life and work would just get out of my way, I'd have it done.

We also got motor oil changed on Norm's CVO, complete oil service on Bombdog's RG, and fixed the fender mounts on RJ's 26" SG...

On RJ's fender mounts... Didn't get a pic during... but we had to retap the four small bolts you see on the mount on the left that is bolted to the fork lowers, then install new bolts (4 per side), then remount everything including the fender that came loose last weekend.

So we got the 26" all back together!!

As always at a GMG Wrench Day I was buzzing around like a fly.... I apologize if I didn't pay enough attention to you or something; or if I failed to speak to you enough... It gets kinda crazy at times. And again, thanks for being here!!

Did the 5mm bolts work or did you have to go up a size?
OH yeah and I had to wash my own bike today since I did get soaked, but it needed it anyway. It was good to see everybody.

Well they couldn't find the .9 pitch and went to a .8 pitch instead but they got it and we got it all back together. Had to drill out the fender spacer to fit the socket heads... but like I said, we got it.

No problem... glad it worked out! The bikes always seem to like the Amsoil. How's that clutch feel?
