View Full Version : Trunk & crash bar

I ordered a trunk for my V-Star from T-Powersports and I'm going to stop on the way home and order my crash bar. After that a set of highway pegs.

I love having a tourpack. I use it all the time.

I like to call it a highway bar.. "crash bar" sounds soooo evil...

HD calls them engine guards... which sounds nice..

Robart, we talked about this last week, glad to see you figured out what you wanted. Got any links or pics of what it will be?

I would be interested also. Please post some pics and links.

Engine guard (there, ya happy?) was supposed to be in yesterday, so I'm hoping for today. The trunk is supposed to be delivered today (according to Fedex's website it's in Lake Orion). Here's a pic of what I did last night. I raised the windshield a couple of weeks ago.

And if I ever get my hands on the engineer that designed that battery on my bike, it won't be pretty.

Some of the batteries are a real PITA to get to.

Engine guard and pegs installed

I was already in bed when the tour pack was delivered. I'll start working on that when I get home from work.

Looking good!

I like that engine guard. Not your standard round or squared style. Looks pretty cool.:boobies:

Yeah I like the design. However, it wouldn't work well with the Caveman standard... his legs would fall off.

Take note of Caveman, and even on his ole Honda
