That is awesome. I'm so jealous but happy for you both that you can ride together as father and son. I wish I would have had that chance.

I hear ya gas, my ole man always wanted a bike. I now feel like sometimes he's riding with me, especially when his fav song is playing and I'm cruising. I was fortunate enough that I kinda grew up with 2 dads. My step dad bough himself a softtail a few years back and now we ride together as much as we can.

My dad never had any interest in motorcycles. He thinks I'm a nut.

My son isn't a rider. He's 32 years old now. I'm trying to get him to take the class and learn to ride. I'd love to ride with him!

My daughter turned 16 earlier this year and has been pestering me to take the rider safety class. Ill probably let her next year, but ill have to try and dig up a smaller bike for her to play around on if i do. She's not riding dads. lol

I just wish the used bikes were as cheap as they were when i learned. My training class was my buddy telling me to get on his dirt bike before i picked up my first scoot and telling me to go up and down the block a few times so you get comfortable then we'll go pick yours up. lol.

Theres nothing quite like sharing an a hobby with someone. It's an easy way to bring people together. I always tried to get my dad to do similar things with me... He thought I was a nut when I started my gun and knife collection. He's pretty much the opposite of me. Lucky for you though! Your son takes after you HaHa.
Anyway, Heres to hoping that my son rides too!
Also, if you son needs some saddlebags, check out viking. I can't sing enough praises for them. Good priced bags, with great quality. Pair it with easy brackets and you have yourself a winner
