View Full Version : August 10th, baton across America

Hey y'all, check this out. I'm meeting a guy in Escanaba that's riding up from lower Wisconsin to pass this baton to me, if all goes as planned. I will be passing it to a friend of mine that lives in Sebawaing Mi and he's going to get the baton back down to Chi-town. The baton started it's journey in Vancouver and when it reaches the east coast they're shipping it off to Europe. Here's the thread link if you're interested. http://www.m109riders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163271

I'm pretty geeked about being part of this thing.

It appears the plans have changed. They fell behind. The guy that is supposed to pass it to me isn't even getting it until the 16th. It's okay, no hurry. Will keep you posted.

I got the baton. I picked it up in Escanaba Monday the 26th. The baton has been to the top of Pikes Peak, over the Hoover Dam, up in a fighter jet at mach 1.2 and now it's crossed the Mackinac Bridge. I will take some local shots with it then pass it to a friend in Sebawaing Mi.
We met at Sand Point Lighthouse.

Here is a video I made of the batons journey so far. The guys on the baton across the world FB page loved it, I hope you do too. It's pretty amazing where this things has been so far. I did try to represent the great state of Michigan as best as I could. I was honored to take place in this event.
