The wife and I will be attending the Ross/Edge ride this Saturday 6-15-13 bike registration starts 0930 and ride departs at 1200 hrs. I first experienced this ride 3 or 4 years ago and it was great the whole route was escorted by police. Limited amount of accordion effect and kept a great pace.

There is also the Harley Fest at Wolverine HD. Gonna be a day on the bike for me and the OL. Gonna be great.
If your goin PM me your number and I will send ya a text when we get in the area for bike line up.

Well, I know I'm a bit late on the ride report and I am sorry but I was only able to get one pic and I don't have it right now. Wasn't that great anyhow.

But I do have a rant about the ride. Right at the beginning during the National Anthem my wife and I both stood and removed even our doo rags and placed our hands over our hearts to show the required respect. What everyone, especially vets should do anyhow. As I am standing there I notice about 30 ft away there is a gentleman about 50-60 y/o just sitting at the picnic table chillin. Which as a strong patriot, really chapped my ass. So, when the Anthem was over, I walked over to the gentleman and kindly asked why he disrespected the our country, our flag, and every vet that served. He then stated that he was a vet like that would make it ok. I said then you should know better, and walked away. Took everything I had not to pistol whip him stupid. As I walk away he started to ask what service I was in since I had told him my wife and I both served. I stated we served in the Army and he tells me he's a Marine. I look at him incredulously, and said that I don't know of any Marine that wouldn't stand and give the proper respect. In fact, most of the Marines I know would have thumped him a good one. Which, the only reason I didn't was because 1) my wife was there and didn't want to put her in a bad situation and 2) while carrying a conealed weapon its not wise to get in a fist fight bad litigation can ensue.
I was just sickened by this.

Ok rant over.

69!!!! Fuck yeah!!!

I was never so offended and apalled as when he said he was a Marine yet he still didn't even stand up. At the very least stand.

the world shouldn't have borders anyways but I understand the respect thing and what he did was wrong. But in essence I disagree with dividing lines, etc. in this world - that is half the fucking problem if not more of why this world is so fucked up. We are all born into this fucking world a bloody screaming mess and we have zero right to any land or anything in around or on the land - the world owns us we don't own the world. But the brainwashing of ownership, countries, money, religion, etc. all starts when you first suck air. It's hard to see past the false reality they teach you. But more and more people are waking up and seeing the truth. You did the right thing - it is not worth your time or trouble. In the new world this guy won't be around anymore. Only those who contribute will be allowed to exist.
