Yeah, I like that dude! Seen him in Sturgis, nice guy. He had a killer Red Road Glide on display....

I have his bags (and exhaust)... 4"ers... NOT them big suckers!

I liked the bike, NOT too practical for cross country however.... to each there own.

Nice! I really wanted the UP Yours pipes but so many people talked of crappy customer service and some problems with the pipes that I decided not to get them.

Hmmm, I do pretty extensive research on my stuff before I drop a penny. For what they are (Knarly pipes) I've seen decent #'s, I'll post my dyno sheet when I get her broke in, cause you can never really believe what's on the web totally.... I've met John, and he may be a little arrogant, but after meeting so many knuckle heads we might be as well, he was decent to me, but I didn't pester him like a 14 year old girl after Justin Beiber...

My review is still pending, but thus far, I was happy with the transaction... We'll see on performance. Course I'm NOT building a drag bike either...

They were some coin. But what isn't when you want something different.

I love looking at all the sick bikes that he has done....
love the new look of your scoot Shane :rockout:
and looking forward to seeing and hearing it in person...

I wasn't going too... I was going to keep my true duels... but something happened along the way...

Some one always has one a bit nicer... and I admire that.

I'm sure I'll change it again... or do a different one. ;)

I know that feeling
when I had my Big Dog K-9...I dropped 1G on a set of those Stainless Creations Chaos II pipes...loved them pipes!!
But...now want to do more traveling on a bike...so traded my BD Chop in for my 2011 HD Ultra Limited ...I have no regrets....maybe 1 day I will be able to have 2 bikes :rockwoot::lol:

I talked to there shop and they were nice to me but I also did lots of research and that's when I came across people that had problems with different products from them. I herd several complaints on their CS and at the time I was planning on buying them I had not seen them or herd them in person so decided not to go with them. I also wanted something a little different and ended up going with the Dragos and like them.

Why not just build your own kick ass bags? Nice to see the bagger crowd used the idea of speaker mounting from the moped crowd and it still looks like after birth

To each his own. if having the loudest ugliest bike around is your goal, looks like these guys got you covered. I don't fault him for making money selling the Rubs what they now want. Wonder if real small wheels and no paint anywhere on the Dresser are next.

Gas Man

Yeah I'm not into this level of mod, I think they are basically going "chopper" craze on the bagger.

Bagger Dave
06-15-2013, 07:44 PM
I thought the vid's were cool...and the one black street glide and the blue street glide...not something that I would do either...interesting to watch though

Sounds good... I never like it when the front pipe goes over the cam chest... on any bike. Takes away from the V of the V-twin

Funny shit Gas. Just bought a Road Glide, that'll be our tame one... We did a 1500 mile trip up north, and we were both deaf after the 4 day trip......... I wouldn't recommend it if you like to put long day rides in... my only regret. I'm gonna change cams this summer sometime and get it dynoed. She can't keep the rear wheel planted. Puts ya side ways in a hurry. ;)

Nice! I love the looks AND sound of "soft tail style exhaust", on a bagger, just don't like it in my ear on a ride longer than 500 miles! YIKES! Just did a quick 4 1/2 1800m day trip to Bryson, NC and back this last weekend on the RG with the MSG's running out the back... aaaahhh, we could actually talk to each other!!!!!! hahaha! Can't beat that for sure!

Yeah that's there other side of it.... but so true. Don't engineer the bike outside what it was designed to do?!?
