Just wanted say a quick hello. I just moved back to Michigan for family reasons. I met my wife in TX while working down there and have been down there for the last couple years but like I said due to family reasons had to move back to MI. we are looking to meet some good people to ride with and just hang out with. My wife don't know anyone up here at all lol. We are in the Wayne/Westland area. I have a 2012 Street Glide.

Here are some pics of my bike. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Welcome to the Asylum, We all float down here.
Welcome from Brownstown.

I kind of did the same to my wife. We met in the Army at Ft Bragg but shes from Mexico and loved the warm weather. then I brought her back to the Icebox, commonly known as Michigan where I'm from, after I got out in 04 she got out in 2000 shortly after my daughter was born.

Nice to see some new faces.

I agree, get some pics up. If you're on a phone, try the m.twowheelmichigan.com

It's a stripped down version that does well on phones.

We also try to do weekly rides on Sunday. Call them TwoWheelChurch (no not religous) Look forward to seeing you out!!

Are get back whips even allowed to be on while riding here in Michigan? That pic was taken in TX. Down there you can have them on your bike.

I think they're only illegal in California, and even then I'm not sure if its an actual statute or if they just are cause for harassing you because its associated with gangs/clubs.

I think a rite of passage here on TWM if you own a Harley touring bike is to get an HD Daymaker headlight. Redneckmedic is currently feeling inadequate in this regard, LOL

Also, Gas Man has a line on high quality painted inners for a fraction of the HD price. We can all pitch in to help you install it.

For beer.

They are legal here in Michigan.
The ride looks really sweet. Love those RSD intakes, just not the price tag. :boobies:

The painted innerspring do look super awesome. Mine will be done this coming mod season.

My air cleaner is not actually a RSD it is actually a RC Components. Thank you for the compliment. I M lookin into a painter inner. Love the look. A lot cleaner and smoother looking. As Far as the get back whips I have not ever seen anyone riding with one here in MI so I have been riding without it because I didn't know if they were legal or not.

Looks great. If you want to do the inner fairing... consider replacing the speaker grills. Legacy Baggers on Facebook. He can design anything you want. And if you go that way, consider getting the saddlebag latch inserts to match.

And as said, the painted inner fairing is sweet. It's the one mod that you, the rider, looks at the entire time you ride.

Pearldrums2

That is true that it is the one mod the ride looks at the whole time. Never thought of it that way.

Cheaper than most if not all. I tell ya... he's the best. Talk to him and tell him we sent ya. He will take care of you. A quick shot down 275 to 75 and you're there. He's a mile from the TA truck stop in Monroe (Dixie Hwy exit)

Ya jeff is the man he did all my powder on my ride and turned out great and about half of what I was expecting to pay and if it doesn't come out right he redoes it, he is a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to it. Turn around times aren't bad either so I say get it done now since its been all rainy and youll be out a week max. It is best to get him the powder early in the week.

In this shot you can see my primary horn(which was actually chris's but still powdered by jeff) and forks although the crash bar is covered by the soft lowers he did that too.
