been working on my 89 dodge extended cab, short box, beater truck / bike hauler. made a new bed, mounted some lights and made some fenders. i put a hitch on it too, that was fun seeing it's lowered. it has a rear axle flip and the hitch was 2" off the ground. so after looking at it awhile, i did a little mod and stuffed it in the frame. no pic of that yet LOL.

next up is mounting the fenders. i wanted to mount them to the axle but after looking at it, i wouldn't have any where to mount the air bags. so... i have to mount them to the bed. after that i'm starting on the headache rack and the 2 5" stacks. for some reason people don't like to folow to close in the rain without the fenders on LOL

i'll get some but it's a plain jane up front for now. i plan on making a nice tube grille, adding a 2" section into the stock bumper and making a 8" drop visor. maybe down the road i'll chop top it 3-4" and ad a second axle in the rear. this is a toy to me some plan's can change LOL. been thinking about either swaping the frame to a 4 door long box or adding 3' to the stock frame

The intake gasket is a common problem on the 4.3. Good motors though and last a long time.
