I am a military guy stationed here since last summer. It was planned to be a three year tour but recently found out it will be cut short. Unfortunately, I will PCS in Dec. Fortunately, that means I get to enjoy a full riding season in Mi on the 2007 Ultra I bought last week. Already have a trip planned for Jul taking the ferry to Milwaulkee, up to the UP and back down along Lake Huron. Pretty pumped considering my last long-ish ride was on a 2007 Sporty.

Congrats and welcome, Hawg, thank you for your service. Keep tabs on the "Church" rides (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/forumdisplay.php?92-TwoWheelChurch-com) (sunday late morning) that we sometimes do - where are you located now?

And post up some pics of that Ultra!

Happpy to be here. As I left out, here is Washington Township area. Working in Warren but prefer the living out here. I definately recognize the background in your photo, we are next door at Thee Office Pub pretty regularly. Rode through Romeo (only as far as Buscemi's) today. Recovering from a surgery for the rest of this month then I will be on the bike regularly.

I will figure out how to get a pic up here. It is pretty stock at the moment.

Romeo is a nice/quick ride from where I am (Bloomfield), and there's a terrific bike night on Thursday nights starting in May, its a really great scene.

Bagger Dave might even make it out for one or two, LOL

:welcome: & thank you for your service :pat:

oh and there required :nopicsbs:

side note. Look up the ferry idea. It cost about $150 or some stupid shit and is no faster than just riding around Chicago. So when I did the same trip I just went around on two.
