Almost re-insured RK, but probably waiting another week or 2 for that and 6 for the Dog...

I wouldn't mind riding out to town and country in cement city. Then go next door to Artesian wells sports tavern for lunch and a beer or two. We could do M50 to Michigan Ave. or 94 to mich. Ave ( us12). Depending on the route we choose it would be a 200-250 plus round trip ride from Brownstown.

Zingermans Deli in AA (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/237670/restaurant/Detroit/Zingermans-Delicatessen-Ann-Arbor) - amazing awesome but pricey, long lines, and hard to park.
Red Rock in Ypsi (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/1676401/restaurant/Detroit/Red-Rock-Downtown-Barbecue-Ypsilanti) - the Bolder on Pretzel roll is to die for!!
Bad Brad's in New Baltimore (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/1502302/restaurant/Detroit/Chesterfield-New-Baltimore/Bad-Brads-BBQ-New-Baltimore)- I didn't like it, but many seem to. It's a nice ride up Lake Shore Dr
Sweetwater Tavern in D-town (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/236781/restaurant/Downtown/Sweetwater-Tavern-Detroit) - GET THE WINGS but generally always a great!!
White Rhino Sports Bar in Melvindale (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/1522493/restaurant/Detroit/White-Rhino-Sports-Bar-Melvindale) - a great bar with great food & the wait staff isn't usually hard on the eyes!
Pete's Garage in Monroe (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/19/897575/restaurant/Detroit/Petes-Garage-Monroe) - a monroe fav by many, features bar/applebees style food.

At first I wasnt sure if you were talking about actually meeting for church, or some regular bike blessing or something.

Then yall made it clear that it was *instead* of church and I was sold, LOL

And I'm believer in the following saying: "I'd rather be on my bike thinking about God than in church (or synagogue) thinking about my bike!"
