I've used Mobile 1 syn gear lube, I get it at Autozone: http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Other_Products/Mobil_1_Fully_Synthetic_Gear_Lube_75W-90LS.aspx

All Amsoil here. I run their 20W-50 in primary and motor but run a 75-110 in the trans (even though the 20-50 can be used there too).

I run Valvoline 10-W-40 in my R1, ran it in my previous R1 as well without any issue. There are lots of different opinions out there regarding oil though, it can be a touchy subject for some :evg:

Not debating, but I've got close to 200,000 miles on two Sportsters the last twelve years with BelRay Gearsaver and no issues. Guess I'll keep using it.
