So I change the oil on the bike and take it on a couple errands. I stop at the gas station, fill up, and go to start the bike and nothing. The gauges all light up, the tach does its thing, except the temp gauge says "chec". I push it away from the pump and start troubleshooting. After a couple minutes I take my helmet off, take the earplugs out, and try to start it. I immediately start thinking what a dumbass I am. I must've hit the power switch with my thumb when I was getting off the bike. Oh well, it's still early in the season.

The good part of your story is that it was only the kill switch. If only all problems were solved by flipping a switch, eh?

I went on a ride last year to Irish Hills. Everyone stopped for gas, except me because my 250 ran for months on one tank hahahahaha, and as we leave the gas station my bike keeps stalling. It starts, I go, it stalls. Over and over. Then someone yells, "Your kickstand's down!"

OOPS!
