What is your farorite interstate cruising speed on long trips?

On the e-way I like 77-80mph... car & bike.

But if I'm on my way home I will turn and BURN.. I've been known to go 90+ the entire way home.

I just want to get home like NOW.

75+ if weather and conditions permit.

As long as I'm rolling at a speed where I'm going faster than the traffic around me I'm ok. Takes the chances of someone sneaking up behind me down some. Plus we all know its fun weaving in and out.

Depends on when I'm riding. Like Gas on way home from a trip its time to get home. but if I'm on the way home from work, like to take the easy way and just cruise 5-10 over. But on the way to work as I have tried to get as much sleep as possible I'm rollin 10+ over.

Depends on how Zippy is talking to me. Some roads she gives a mean whammy jammy if I get her more than the posted, other roads she mambo's till the throttle runs out.

What the hell did you say? Who is Zippy? and what is whammy jammy and mambo till throttle runs out? Seriously, man, speak english that we all can understand.

whammy jammy; unclassifiable vibrations that typically impart a feeling of unease. Usually due to the surface finish on a road or the waffle pattern of a bridge's steel grates.

mambo til the throttle runs out; complete opposite of above. Ever been cruising and run out of throttle with out realizing you were still twisting it up because the bike was moving that smooth?

I'm going to guess you don't name your bike or other vehicles?

sure do but the things you are talking about are not naming the bike or vehicles. what your naming is gibberish names for basic road conditions. Such as wobble or wandering. and shimmy, type stuff.

Never run out of throttle with this new one. Maybe i'm gettin old but 110-120 starts to scare the shit outta me these days.

Well lad, you didn't figure out that Zippy is my bike's name, hence the question about naming your autos.

Should I phrase things ala Dr Seuse and with smaller syllables for easier cognition?

All of the above, I have putt putted around and I have rode at such high speed for a period of time that my neck hurt from fighting the wind.

Try not to hit the 80 mark. Usually right under it unless traffics moving faster then I'll roll with them.

Yeah I have been there... sore neck and all.

Always prefer to roll faster than traffic.
