Ok Peeps, Thought I would start a S/E Ohio ride thread. Thought there was some intrest in this. Spring is almost here and I thought we should atleast start discussing which weekend everyone would be available to ride. I can make just about any weekend work with enough advance notice. I know some you have obligations on certain weekends, so if anyone has any ideas, please post here. Also, what are your thoughts on time, 1 day? both days with an overnighter? And maps and routes, any ideas would be great.

BTW I really want to stay in front of Mike (BKINGER) apparently he can't see behind him, due to his abnormally huge elbows :D

I'm up for a ride, I should be finished with my classes good to go. I think a night would be great depending on what day and time we leave. If we get out by morning hours we should be good.

Berto,

Any space on your trailer for an extra bike? I will help to defray expenses.

This may be wishful thinking, but as fate would have it, my boy's soccer team has a soccer tournament in Columbus coming up! I haven't been able to get ahold of the coach and get an exact date as of yet, but I sure hope it's around the same time as when you decide to go. I'd definetely expect it to be an overnight thing, and we'd likely be riding down. My dilema is how will the kids be getting down there, if it's my ex's weekend with the kids, she'll be driving em down and we'd (Monica and I) ride down to see the game, and then hit the roads, or vice versa. By the way, that first route you picked is fantastic! Heck, Columbus is only like 5 or so hours south of here. I'll post as soon as I hear something.

Mein, my trailer is a one rail trailer(it's a trailer in a bag)... if we can get our hands on a two bike trailer, I can tow... specially since you are so near me in Northville.

His soccer game is over Memorial Day weekend, although I don't have all the details yet.

So, is that an official vote for Memorial day weekend?
I understand though you need a little more info on the soccer game.
I don't want to be a pessimist but....seems like it always rains that weekend >:D
