I have used Seatmaker (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/member.php?255-seatmaker) from BadAssBikeSeats.com (http://www.badassbikeseats.com) (A TWM Sponsor (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/forumdisplay.php?55-BadAssBikeSeats-com)) to do many of my bike seats over the years. He has been one of my highest recomended "vendors" I can ever give. So when I want to have a seat done, I won't even consider anybody else!!

So, here's my stock street glide seat, that needed some custom love.

So I went with an ebony gator as my top highlight piece. It matches my black/gray paint pretty well, had it double stitched maroon around it to match my maroon double pin stripe line.

Went with matte ostrich on the sides.

I can never speak high enough about Scott aka Seatmaker, on his quality of work. I picked up my seat and couldn't get it on the bike fast enough!!!

OH MY!!

The pin stripe matches color and line up insanely well!!

I say this time and time again... for the money it is a HUGE piece of real estate on your bike that gives BIG BIG impact on the look of your bike.

$200 for the leather work
$100 for the gel inserts for front & rear
= $300 but worth more than that for impact to the bike's look!!!

P.S. Consider hitting up Brukus (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/member.php?804-Brukus) (another site sponsor (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/forumdisplay.php?81-Brukus-Motorcycle-Parts-Brukus-com)) and get a seat secure (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/showthread.php?2835-Brukus-Motorcycle-Locking-Systems) to keep your BadAssBikeSeat (http://www.badassbikeseats.com) on YOUR bike!!

looks killer! do you know if he reused the internal seat foam or did he go with new padding? I would like to get something like this similar to the "Hammock" suspension type system used by Harley. The old lady has a bad back (26 years iof marriage has done her in:-)) and I need something to keep her happy on the bike. Any ideas?

In my case he re-used my internal foam, but he removed some in mine to install gel inserts

I would contact Scott, but I don't see what he couldn't.

Do you have any design ideas?

Thinking about using some deer skin/hide inserts, but I really like the black ostrich too. Would really like to demo the hammock style seat and try to figure out the "suspension" system. to see how difficult it would be to mimick.

Yeah I haven't seen the inside of that.... maybe Scott has.
