You would need to get them trued up... The Shop in brownstown is the best place for that... The problem with powdering them is that it would F you for trueing them again later. If you took it all apart and did it... I think the powder would be a bit thick and problem matic. Just some warnings... I would want to know for sure before you bought them.

The only way I'll be able to get them is if they are still available after the new year. I love the wheels and they are what I want and was planning on getting later just in gloss black with red nipples. The thing tempting me is this is full set with rotors for what I would pay for the front alone.

Loan me a grand and I will. You should be getting extra tips this time of the year working your corner.

Snatch 'em up if you can and de-lace them. Simply Custom in Wyandotte can do the powdercoat, then have them re-laced. I did the hubs and rims on my 74 Sporty in gloss black, then GM Cycle laced them with chrome twisted spokes.

Will Custom actually relace and true them as well?

No, Custom is just a powdercoater. But the guy's a biker and builder, so he knows how to mask/block off holes and such so the powder doesn't affect clearances... I edited my previous post to hopefully avoid confusion.

I think the problem is that rugby nor myself know how to lace a wheel. An art form we are lacking. I know I wouldn't mind knowing though.

After re looking at this post on craigs i realized these wheels and a set of black ones for the same price are for the pre 09 flh models so the rear would be too skinny
