Had a user tell me they got a malware warning in one certain thread. I can't seem to have any issue with firefox, safari, or IE.

I have took a bunch of precautions but have found nothing. Submitted a ticket to the hosting company dept for website scanning. Will report back what they find or don't.

Anybody else have any issues?

The user said it was in the tragic thread specifically. But I, nor the hosting company, nor google can find anything. But you guys know I take this stuff seriously. So I'm giving it more than due diligence.

Further investigation revealed the issue...

"User A" here uses freeimagehosting dot net for pics and signature pics. That site was comprimised and hit the google black list yesterday, so when the "user B" who told me they expierenced problems... shown below.

Chrome & Firefox use google's blacklist to help keep it's users safe. However, I find it sometimes over protective, if there is such a thing on the net. Turns out it was actually just "User A's" sig pic that was triggering the malware problem. Google seen that website's linking in "User A's" sig and flagged the thread. That image hosting site has since been cleared off the blacklist. Before this was figured out, I spent about 2 hours on the site ensuring safe forum browsing. Changing passwords, and running google webmaster tools and scans on the site. It never found anything because I think the blacklist and that image hosting site was already fixed. But another 2 hours into working on the site.

This is how our site here, TwoWheelMichigan.com , can be affected by other sites. I know I have had my own problems so I sympathize. But I do ask, be watchfull of what you link here, I like to use Photobucket and have NEVER had a problem like this. This instance was not in any way malicious and I'm not going to say anything to any user specifically. Just be careful boys & girls and thanks as always for using what I believe is the best MichiganMotorcycleForum.com (http://www.MichiganMotorcycleForum.com)you can find anywhere!!

Well now I'm being told it's still occuring.

I'm looking into changing the signature image permissions... I can't have this causing problems...

I have also turned on Signature Picture Uploading so all of you can do that as well.

Further, I want to show you guys that we can also upload and store pics here.
