I love baseball and I'm a homer, but the Tigers are driving me crazy. They're losing the third game of the series with Frickin KC right now and I can't watch anymore.

Venting

That is all

Great game last night and even better seats. I'm better again but they need to win the next two.

Yeah, I think they're done. In retrospect our hopes rode on repeating career years by Peralta, Avila, Valverde and Verlander all at the same time. Doubtful that was going to happen.

Plus we have a lot of guys who would be the best worst guy on a better team, but you cant have too many of those.

Infante is killing us, and I think the fielding stats on Cabrera and Peralta don't tell the whole story. While they are relatively solid, better position players would get to more ground balls that are otherwise called hits.

I agree with all of that. Not to mention a 211 team average with the bases loaded, the only team in MLB without a grand slam. You mentioned Infante, the guy has 8 errors since joining the team and is NOT a clutch hitter. Next year the middle infield has to be addressed. Boesch should be gone, the guy has not seen the ball at the plate all year.

They are playing like the Lions - a bunch of individuals out there looking to get theirs. And it shows.

Least we have them to rely on for a post season. Damn Lions looked worse this past Sunday than they have in the last 10 years. It was like a time machine brought the 02 Lions to the future.:zowned::fu2:

Its pretty simple. The Tigers just have a problem with left handed and right handed pitching.
