Nah. Not much traffic at that time in that direction, should be fine. I've made a personal commitment to only bitch about cold weather. :)

so, regarding too hot - I headed out in 98 degrees, as I got out into the country I expected it to get cooler which it really did not. Really it was not an uncomfortable ride, I'm glad I didn't puss out.

When I parked in Romeo (very few bikes for a normal thursday, I was surprised and disappointed by that), I checked my oil temp, pleasantly surprised that it was a very reasonable 244 degrees.

On the way home it was probably cooler but it felt warmer because it was way more humid. Parked the bike in my garage - 244 degrees!

I don't they year but it was day late in summer. I was going to ride but thought "it's too damm hot!" I went out any way. I got caught in some traffic on my way out to ride around in the thumb. At one point I thought my pants had caught fire, so I put the kick stand down and stood next to the damm bike till the light changed.

244* kosher isn't bad. Mine was runnin 264 the other day in the high heat.

I bet that could have somin to do with my lowers.

Thought I read somewhere that hard lowers actually direct air to the engine, ergo cooler temps.

I don't know man, I get a bunch more air if I take off my lowers.

2 reasons... I like the look and they are great in the rain.

Yeah and if you get the nylon ones... they are real cheap too. Just snap on.

You use one of those mud? Those would be great for under hard hats at work.
