Me and 2 other guys I ride with started out on Thursday in the Detroit area, headed up to Clarkston, 15 up to Bay City, 10 all the way west to Luddington, up M22 wound up in Traverse City for Dinner at Mackinaw Brewing Co, then a couple at 7 Monks Tap Room, GREAT place. Stayed over night in Suttons Bay at one of the guys places. Nice cigar on the deck

On Friday, headed up to Northport, then Leland for breakfast, over to Cheboygan, then 23 to Rogers City, over to Onaway, then stopped at the other guys place in Boyne Falls to freshen up. Dinner at Pearls in Elk Rapids which is a killer Cajun restaurant. Cigars on the deck again, sunset over Deer Lake.

On Saturday we were going to head up to the UP, either Tahquamenon Falls or Munising, but the forecast called for thunderstorms, and rain in upper Michigan so we decided to cut it short and head back. The forecast was much better when we left Detroit, so I didnt pack rain gear, opting for more room to pack other crap. Breakfast at Cafe Sante in Boyne City, then we headed up to Cross Village for lunch. the first M119 run on our way up to Legs Inn we got caught behind about 8 slow (mc) bikers, but we did a second run on our way back *much* better.

Then we headed down I75 from Gaylord, picked up 46 at Bay City and headed across the thumb area (can you say Kansas?) to Lexington. One of the guys wanted to have dinner in Lexington because he saw some TV show that supposedly highlighted a great restaurant there. He was mistaken. So we headed to the outskirts of Port Huron to Cheap Charlies, which at least had decent pizza. then we headed out on 69 to 53 and back to the Grand Tavern in Auburn Hills at 1030 for one last drink and back home. All in all a great trip.

Packed and ready to go:

Nice jaunt. My FIL lives in Macelona so I am familiar with that area and out by Traverse City. I like that section of Michigan... it's nice!!!

Great little scoot man. Wish I could have been there instead of worky work crap.

Oh and nice set of RKs!
