Just traded my track bike for a 2002 Vulcan 800 Drifter.*

Here is a video of it.

These cruiser things are in a whole other class!* It's like learning to ride all over again.

You need to post pics...

I got your email and will reply... when do you want to get together... this weekend coming up is tough as I have family coming over, but let's figure it out.

Good find man... that thing looks mint.* You are keeping the mean machine, right?

Anyway... I will call you this week and see what we can do.* It will get cold soon and I have to put on some miles soon.

Thanks! So far most that have seen it love it.* When I fire it up everyone gets a smile on their face, me included.* I'm getting plates for it tomorrow and got it insured today.* I hope to get some seat time on it this week and go for a little ride out in the hicks this weekend to get used to it.

I think it is similar.* I know on the drifter the fenders are old school skirt style and the rear fender is actually connected to the swing arm so it moves with the rear tires and no the rest of the bike.*

I'm a new member from waterford, When looking for a bike last year the drifter caught my eye, but found a nice 2003 750ACE, I think that drifter would look good parked next to my bike.

Awesome bike!* I looked at the ACE a while back and was really wanting one but could not sell my track bike.* When this guy came with the trade I could not turn it down.* We'll have to get some pics of our bikes together.* Would make for a good picture for sure!

Both bikes fit me really well too since I'm 5'-8".* I really like the Suzuki Boulevards but when I sat on the bigger ones at the show it felt like I had to do the splits.* I don't know how people can ride those Boss Hoss's!* LOL

I've always liked the Drifter. The 800 is pretty propotionate to the 1950. I think it looks more Indian then the Gilroy or Stellican does. But thats just my opinion. Bummer that it was only a limited production.
