Its a charity ride that benefits The Penrickton Center for blind children. It's put on by biker bobs, if you register early it's $20 per person, or it's $25 per person the day of I think. It's a police escorted ride, it's right around 100 miles, I have yet to do it, this will be my first year, but the people I know who have done it say it's one of the best charity runs. I was also told when I registered at biker bobs that guinness book of world records was gonna be there, they plan on a record breaking number of participants to be there.. Should be cool... Line up starts at 10 am on June 3rd at Cabelas in Dundee.

I am working so I can't.

I have yet to go to that one either. But I kinda quit most of those types of rides a few years ago. They quit being entertaining and the ride quality isn't that great. But to each their own. It is a great cause!!!

I have been on that one and the ride wasn't that bad but we did get caught by two trains and the accordion affect was terrible. Thought it would be better with the police escort. As for the end at BB's HD, the catering by Famous Dave's is less than adequate. They only offer a puny pulled pork sandwich chips and a pop. Then when I did it there wasn't even enough for the amount of peeps that were there. We pulled in from the ride and I saw the line was a mile long so I figured why not go in the dealer and look around a bit and let line settle down. BAD IDEA. Food was gone and there wasn't even a contingency meal in place. So the wife and I hopped back on the scoot and went over to Famous Dave's for a real meal. Great reason for a ride but I felt it was poorly executed, and that was like the 6th or 7th one they had done.
I felt the Andy Ross ride was a much better ride started at Elizabeth Park in Trenton and went out to Milan Dragway where we had about an hour break with simple snack provided, Apple, orange or banana and water or fruit drink. Just the thing you would need to get you through to the end. I scarfed two apples and a banana and two bottles of water just for me and the wife got herself some extra as well and Gas and his lady were there as well. Then the ride ended back in Elizabeth Park with a Pig Roast of like 12-15 pigs, and fixins and sides too. Was more than enough food to go around and much better quality than at BB's. However, this year they have teamed up with another ride and is now called the Edge/Ross ride starts in Elizabeth Park again but the end is at Gorno mazda. I think that I liked the first time I went so much cause after a couple hours ridin in the sun its nice to escape into the trees at the park to cool off. wont find that kind of comfort seat place at a dealership parking lot.

Sounds like it's just and the people I already know then. I'm not going for the food so Im not concerned about that. It's for the kids anyway, I just thought that I'd see if anyone else was goin. If so I was gonna look ya up..

I gotta check the day versus the work schedule. If I have the day off it may not be a bad idea to hook up on the way down there get there early and stop at Bob Evan's for b-fast. I prefer to have a full belly from the early and burn it off as the day goes by.

Just checked the sked and I will be working nights that day. I get off that morning at 0630 I could prolly do that though it would be burnin the candle at both ends for real. Prolly not likely. Or as my buddy says it, "Maybe, but I kinda fuckin' doubt it."
