25 P-51's, a B-29, a couple of P-47's, and a P-38.

I've seen lots of 51's but never 25 in one place. Never seen a B-29, a P-47, or a P-38.

They're still adding to the performers list and the flying schedule isn't up yet.

So, go. What's stopping you? I think one of the bike shops, maybe Motor City, does a ride in. You get the ticket and special parking for the price. Not sure if they'll do it this year.

Its usually my work schedule that stops me...not all of us have every weekend off and work a 9-5'er

Since I'm not far from Ypsi, I've been able to watch the planes, mainly the jets from my deck. They fly right over my place. If anyones interested in going I'd be in for that. Still a few months away.....play it by ear right. Love the air shows.

You sure? I've been watching for a B-29 to show up around here for years, this is the first time I recall. I watch the coming attractions for both Willow Run and Selfridge.

The Yankee Air Force owns and flies a B-17 and a B-25, and they always attend the Selfridge show. There have also been a couple of B-24's and B-26's from time to time, but never a B-29. There is only ONE left flying in the world, so getting to see it is a rare opportunity.

B-29A (s/n 44-62070) Fifi. This aircraft is operating with the Commemorative Air Force (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/wiki/Commemorative_Air_Force) (B-24/B-29 Squadron) in Addison, Texas (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/wiki/Addison,_Texas).[11] (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/#cite_note-10) Fifi was returned to airworthy status in August 2010 and flew for the first time since 2006.[12] (http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/#cite_note-11)

Here's a wikipedia link to surviving B-29's, all are on display or in storage except FIFI.

If you're lucky you might be able to see a commercial flight circling...
