A big welcome to ya Bill, I live in Sterling Heights. We gotta hook up on them weekends! Phenomenal bike you have, the FZ1, and it's a real screamer with that pipe on it. We love my girl's FZ6.

By the way, what are you calling old? I've been 20 for 20 yrs, ha ha. So funny when I hear OLD guy, then I find out he's 40 or 50. I guess that's old to a twenty something person, but that's still quite young to me, and you can usually tell who still FEELS young by the bike they ride.

I hear ya, I got my first ticket on my FZ this fall (oakland co ) clocked me at 85 in a 45 on adams rd. He told me "before you pulled your helmet off I thought you were a twentysomething and I was gonna throw the book at you"* anyway he wrote me for 10 over. So that worked out for me.* I'm not ready for a full touring bike yet.

I'm tellin ya, it's eery how the sensation of speed dimishes on certain bikes, it takes some getting used to. It's like, "oopse, I'm goin 80."
