NO.

Cant see have having a short, load exhaust would help make it eaiser to make a 600 mile day.

I'm partial to Fishtails, but its not bad, honestly. Good thing we all don't like the same thing. I'm also a Moose Tracks fan, but some people don't like nuts. (probably why they don't like me, lol)

Well that's a whole nother debate... I don't like super loud exhausts on FLH/touring bikes. I think it's counter productive.

I would think the lack of pipes under a saet of saddlebags would look weird.

I agree... Cave's new pipes are sweet!!!

I voted either way. I think it is funny that all touring bikes "have to have" duals, to the point that a good performing 2 into 1 pipe has a fake muffler for the other side. I think I would have a quiet pipe for a long haul bike, but a lot of guys buy baggers and bar hop.

True sprink... but I'm fine with 2:1 out the back... I just don't like the shorty side pipes...

And idealy if I did it again I would get a http://www.americancustom.com/ set of pipes so I could interchange my baffles.
