So for Christmas the kids got me a stuffed Domo. I saw him one day and laughed my a55 off. For some reason I think he's hilarious. Anyhow he is now my riding mascot. I will be taking pics of him in random places when I get out and about.
Domo is the guy on the left.
The guy on the right is Muno and he makes me laugh too. Muno will be going when there isn't room for Domo. This will be a fun game to play for us. I saw a video a while back that made me LOL, it was called gnome to be wild. Well I found it so here's the video.
Eventually when I get enough pics I'll put one of these together.
So here is the beginning of Domos adventures.
#1 The Mighty Mack Bridge, this was taken on my first real ride this year.
#2 Elk Rapids Michigan, Domo and I rode down to Traverse City to have some 911 wings at Hooters. We stopped to see the swan in Elk Rapids
I don't know where Domo will go next but he's always ready to go.

Well, last weekend Domo got out for a ride. We met with some friends for breakfast then rode to Mackinac. We're kind of tired of Mackinac but that's where the group wanted to go. When we were leaving Cheboygan we decided the group was riding too slow for us so we rode ahead of the group. When we arrived we pulled over and waited for our friends to arrive. Here is the group riding past us heading towards the bridge.
And here is a picture of the bikes. For some reason no one wanted to get in the pic except Domo, he loves being in front of the camera.
We're heading out tomorrow morning so I have no idea what to expect.

Very nice Chef.....beautiful area your in :dthumb: . My son lived with a billet family in Pelston and attended Petosky high school in his senior year when he was playing Hockey for the Northern michigan black bears in the Northern Ontario Hockey Leauge. Spent allot of time in your area.

I love it up here. I moved here in 1988 and never looked back. I grew up in the Detroi-let area and knew I didn't want to raise my kids down there. I'm 8 miles from Pellston. I always say if you get up this way let me know, we can hit the back roads. Ask Truxton Bill about the roads I took him on when he visited with BKing Mike and Monica.

I know I wish I lived up there. Much nicer than the rat race going on down here.

Domo went for a ride on the back roads today and we decided to stop at St Johns Catholic Church on highway 32. This is on the East side of East Jordan.
M32 is one of our favorite roads, we like the curves.
Domo went up and posed by the sign so everyone could get the background of this beautiful church.
At the last minute when we were trying to leave Domo made a mad dash to get into the church but I caught hime and we were on our way.
The forecast said rain but we ended up with a beautiful day.

Domo finally made the trip to Hooters. He had a good time and met some nice girls. I did not share my 911 Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with him

Domo and I went out for a ride today. We rode over to Cheboygan. Domo wanted to see the coast guard ship that is parked over there.
After that we rode over to the park to look at Lake Huron, the Mackinac bridge is in the background but you can't see it unless you blow the picture up.
We decided to head for home after that stop. The sky was starting to show a little gloom heading our way. We hit our favorite back roads on the way home. The ride home was much more fun than the ride to Cheboygan. Anyhow here is a couple of pictures of Domo playing in the trillium's between Wolverine and Petoskey. I didn't really want to stop cuz I was enjoying the sweepers but it is the state flower.
It all worked out good though because after this picture it started raining. I don't mind riding in the rain but the stop gave me a chance to put my radar detector and ipod away.

Hey, I make this shit up as I go along. :lmao:......don't take any shit from these guys Chef!

Well I have to this time cuz I was wrong. I do know the state bird is the mosquito, the state song is All Summer Long by Kid Rock, the state rock is the Petoskey Stone and the state motto is "hold my beer while I do some donuts in the snow."

We took a ride to Cross Village and Domo was gracious enough to pose by the township hall.
When we got home domo decided since it was the 4th of July weekend he needed to celebrate by having a beer.

Domo got out for an adventure again today. First we rode over to Cheboygan and made a right turn on 23. There was no traffic at all on 23 so we found a nice stretch an opened the Concours up a bit.
We stopped at the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse which I have driven past many times but this time we decided to stop for a photo op. Here is a nice pic of Lake Huron, by the way it was a nice cool 73 degrees.
And here is the Calcite. I didn't read the sign but it was set up so you could go inside. It looked pretty cool.
Domo is the best riding companion. He never bitches and is always ready for a picture. After that we rode down to Alpena and over through Atlanta, Gaylord and back home to Petoskey. I didn't take any more pics though. I was enjoying the ride too much to mess around with pics.

So Domo had an adventure. First he tried to steel a friends M109 in Mackinac City.
Then he was checking out the rocks on the side of Iron Mountain Road.
Then he camped at Van Riper State Park just west of MArquette
We rode up to Houghton, Domo wasn't feeling well so he layed down for a rest.
Domo and I stopped at the Gay Bar.
Domo camped at the Porcupine Mountain State Park.
As we left in the morning he decided he was KING OF THE ROAD!!!
He posed by Lake Superior.
We stopped by the worlds tallest Indian in Ironwood Mi.
And last but not least a quick pose in Two Harbors Minnescrotum.
Domo is a great traveling partner, he doesn't complain, does whatever I want, doesn't slow me down ,stays in the bag and doesn't take up much room. He sure as hell looks better in a picture than I do.
