Folks, looking for a set that are pretty much ready to go, I don't want to sign up for a project.

If you, or anyone you know is selling, please contact me - thanks!

When's the next mc swap meet? Could probably find some there.

Great, will definitely try to hit that. Problem is I'd want to ride to it!

You could probably find someone to do a straight trade

Or just go there without your bags...

So here's the question, what are the chances that I'd find something in nearly perfect condition at a reasonable price? I've never paid attention to bags at swap meets.

Might have a good shot at finding a set. Kind off a crap shoot really, just never know. IMHO I like the bags you have on your bike now....I wouldn't change a thing, looks awesome!

Thanks - yeah I guess I dont need to spend any more money on the thing, its getting a bit out of hand. Maybe if I ride there with the bags ON, I wont be tempted, LOL

+1 agree I like the classic bags better on your bike.

I too like the classic bags better on your bike. The classic style bike like yours won't look the same with the hard bags.

But to each their own ya know...

I thought about doing this same conversion on mine but figured I would need to pay to have them pinstriped to match the rest of the bike then probably clear coated. The leather bags don't look so bad after all.

Ok, well, thanks guys, you talked me out of it. Good news is I get to ride to the swap meet and keep my money (or use it to buy something else...)
