CrampBuster

(http://www.crampbuster.com/)I have had one of these on different bikes for... well forever. I love em. It allows you to not have to squeeze the throttle the entire time. You can relax your hand a bit. I have carpel tunnel so it's a huge help.

I have other things as well but let's just talk about this for now...

I use a CB4 I believe.

Here it is on the BDM

Excellent!! Guess I've been in a cave, haven't seen one that didn't require some sort of assembly. Gonna get me one ..Thanks Chris.

No problem. I really like em.

Moe you got a cruisemate?

Moesride

Nope, dont have a cruise mate. I did think about it a while back but never really wanted to do any drilling. Yeah...probably no big deal but just kinda let it go by the wayside. But this Crampbuster looks like it's right up my alley. I know it's not a cruise control but it's gonna help fore sure.

I actually have both on the Nightster and had both on the big dog. If you decide you want a CM too I have installed 4 of them.

I saw one go whipping past me in Missouri, in front of a roadhouse. By the time we hit Kansas a stop in Dodge City was required.

We picked up three, I even put one on my sweet solid brass grips.

They are great, I have 2 on the GSX (throttle and clutch side). Its nice on the clutch side to just rest my hand and still have control of the handlebar.

Looks like you guys are all happy with this. Ordered me one up. Should have ordered two for good measures. If your willing to do a little surgery on the bdm Chris, i'll order one of those cruise mates up. No way am I playing Doctor, I'll fuck it up one way or another. I get a little nervous doing things like this not having ever seen it done before.

F.W.I.W. Mine is the origional "Throttle Rocker", with close to 180,000 miles on it. They stopped making it and came out with a updated version that had a velcro attachment. Crampbuster started producing their own and as mentioned earlier, they are offered in left and right hand. Also they offer them in different widths. They do allow you to relax your grip which cuts back on the neck and shoulder discomfort, you can also slide your hand back and let the weight of your palm hold your throttle position. Oh, and the origional "Throttle Rocker" is once again availible. I bought a L & R Crampbuster for another bike and by comparison found the T.R. fit my hand better.

I helped Chris install mine Moe...it does look a little nerve racking ...I pretty much use my Cruise Mate for warming the bike up...I used it a couple times on the hwy...but you have to get them adjusted just right...too much and the bike picks up speed...and too little it starts losing speed
I also have that same Crampbuster...never used it yet

That's the one I use to have back in the day on my sportbike... throttle rocker...

I always forget which one came first....

My grips look just like these and don't think I could ever ride with out a "throttle rocker", or "cramp buster" or whatever you want to call it again. Whenever I ride anything with out it the grip feels weird in my hand. although these kury grips weren't cheap but man do I love em.

For comfort you can keep all that chrome on hand grips. Further, I can see that bolt style being a wear factor...

Did a little run with this throttle assist last night and I really like. Looks like I'm going to keep it on all the time. For $11, probably one of the best additions to the bike I've made.

Thnx gas, not a bad idea to have a back up on long trips.
I lost my 1st somewhere before the bridge going to the U.P. and it was a long trip home because I had gotten so used to it.
I got the throttle locks on the Dog and RK so I haven't used 1 in a while, but thinking about putting it back on...
