Folks, I picked up a set of cast wheels, and I'm considering getting them chromed. I'm aware of http://www.willyshiny.com, but seems expensive, and shipping on top of that.

Any recommendations?

http://brownsplating.com/chrome_direct.php Check these guys out Kosher. While I have personaly never used them, a lot of guys swear by them. I think Chris had alot of his parts chromed by them and I'm sure he'll chime in on this. While they are not local, it might be worth your while sending your wheels to a place that comes highly recomended by past customers

I did have a bunch of parts chromed localy on my old bike by Als polishing in Toledo, 75 and Alexis rd. exit.... http://alspolishing.com I was very happy with what they did. Heres a pic of my old bike...

I did not see that, but do know for a fact they will plate wheels. Call 248 674 4333 and ask for Bob Jr. He will hook you up.

Ok these are some of the Chromers out there. But, what about the more reputable Powder coaters? I would recommend the one that did mine but as Gas knows that I can't honestly send some one I know to him after the troubles that I have had.

A coworker of mine is new to 2WM and would like to know (Jim113)

Idk cave. All my powder still looks great. I think that you just can't ceramic older used pipes.

Your v&h were trouble from the start and he warned us they were. Further you haven't said a word to him about them so you have no idea if he'll fix em or not.

There is another shop I spoke to before and the dealer uses. It's called Simply customs and is on eureka just eat of fort st.
