Make the 2012 HD bike of your dreams (http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Content/Pages/H-D1/Bike-Builder-Intro.html?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US&version=desktop&source_cd=Email_011912_Jan_NL_fo&camp_id=16)

It's a cool idea and really hope it adds some more variety to what's out there.

Oh Yah... I'm liking this. I think it's gonna draw some attention for sure. Always good to have different options right from the factory, especially ones you can play around with on a screen. Mixes these bikes up a bit, Very Nice!

The only thing I don't like is that much of it is dealer installed. So what is the real price break?

Cool idea for the chromosexuals and the mechanically un-inclined, but if you can buy it at the dealer, it's not custom...

welcome to the forum, be sure to do a intro with pic's of your bike. they like that around here !! oh and i agree with you about the "custom" part but too each their own. i'm a builder so "custom" means something different to me but i'm always willing to help someone make a "custom" part.

1200 Sportsters have plenty enough go, and make one hell of a show.

Some much tweeking I want to do my sporty this winter but I can't buy anything for her if i want to get my other project running by spring :(

I'll split hairs between 'customizing' and 'a custom bike'. One is something the dealer does, the other is something the dealer says "I ain't touching that now."

I've said it before, the problem I have with the system is the custom parts are the same cost as on the shelf so this means I pay the price and don't get to sell off my stock stuff.

So true. It would be more worth it, if they gave you a steep discount.

When I got my fatboy back in 2000 I had an old timer who has been riding since the 50's that harley would finaly keep up with demand and move into buliding bikes on as ordered, Looks like he was right.
