This is a good movement... but why?

The National Insurance Crime Bureau reports that during year 2007, 65,678 motorcycles were stolen. In 2010, this number dropped 24% to 49,791. The most stolen brands? Hondas (12260) then Yamaha followed by Suzuki, Kawasaki and then Harley-Davidson. California is the most dangerous place to keep your most prized possession at 5,662 thefts, followed by Texas, Florida, North Carolina and Indiana, these 5 states accounting for 37.7 percent of all motorcycle stolen in the United States.

A theft drop of 24% from 07 to 2010 actually surprises me. I would think thefts would have actually gone up between that time as the economy worsened and more thefts follow.

Crooks look for easy money. They aint crooks cause they wanna work hard.

With so many folks low on funds, stands to reason crooks got no one to sell to.

Anyway ya look at it, its better for us bike owners!!!! Cant stand thieves!!!!!
