Yeah, very torn about this. 40s and sunny not bad, but lots of salt on the roads. I'm feeling too lazy to wash it afterword, it can take up to 2 hours.

I know what you mean, but when it finally starts it's gonna be a long winter!!!! Plus when was the last time you road your bike on Dec 26?

A good enough point. I got a ride in on Dec 1 for my December ride, so 11 months of riding in 2011. The trick now is to find a day in January.

Good luck with that.

My roads here are salted :bash: I won't ride once they start salting the roads...I always wait until the salt is washed away from a few good rains...not worth it to me...but to each their own...I have seen dudes out there riding in the salt and shit

Dave I'm with ya, and if I had as much polished & chrome as you did, I wouldn't even un-cover the chop in the garage with all the salt down.

I do think about getting it out, but when I see the side of my car and the salt crap all over it, turning the car from dark grey to a silvery white color. NOPE, I'll pass.

Take some pics Lrider!!

Yeah...we both know how long it takes to clean it after getting caught in the rain and riding in the rain for a couple hours :nono: :lmao:

plus its not worth getting my shit fucked up from the salt for only a little ride :werd:

I did an airbox elimination on Xmas eve, i had to go out and see how it ran. That was at 11am and it was a little cold but I enjoyed very much.

I am really thinking about taking it out for a quick ride. I got a GoPro for x-mas and really want to try it out on the bike.

Ended up doing just over 50 mi, sunshine and listening to that V twin as I ran her thru the gears, it was fricken great well worth the little bit of time it will take to clean her up.

Gas Man,
All I have are a couple pictures I took with my phone in the driveway, but what the hay, I'll post them as soon as I figure out how.

Went to Campus Marshitz (whatever it's called) to get a pic, but it was crowded so I didn't put my bike "under the tree" like I planned.

Then I headed up to Algonac to go for a ride with sportsterpaul. It did get chilly after dark, but it was a really nice ride. I saw 6 other bikes out.

I got 2 rides in January - Friday January 6 and rode to the moto show on the 7th, total of about 100 miles.

Bike is in the shop now getting apes and some other crap, my timing on the pickup was perfect - a 50 degree rainy day. Snow on the ground now, but looks to be gone by next week, so I'll be all ready to get my February ride in. The Road To 12, w0oT!.

Damn Fellas. Im a Vajaja compared to you guys. I'm afraid of the salt and hate cleaning the bike. I did see your bike parked out front at the IMS Kosher. Very Nice! :dthumb:

Thanks Moe! Yep, will definitely post some pics. Was at the shop the other day so they could adjust the bars to my liking. Bike was all torn up, but I forgot to snap a pic or two while I was there. Might try to zip over tomorrow to get a few pics while its still apart. They have the handlebar chrome on it, looks great so far.
