I think this would be a camping trip. Perhaps get Caveman to pull his trailer behind his hog. Might even add a night at one of the camping sights. Probably the upper UP stop. Give us a chance to ride things like lake in the clouds, etc...

Who's in?

That is a big trip. I would like to make it. I have too much going on to commit, but will keep an eye on this.

I like big trips... It would be cool for a 4 man ride.

Honestly, most of my trips are 1700 +/- miles

Chris that would be soo cool. I did part of that in 06. I left Buffalo, headed up thru the Bruce Penninsula and took the ferry from Tobermory to South Baymouth.
Headed north though Sudburry to Timmons and Iroquois Falls then east into Quebec and then south out of Canada into the Adirondak Region. 4 nights in all. I hear Elliott Lake is real nice and you will be just south of it on 17 as you are heading west.
Here are some pics of the ferry.
It's real nice with A/C and a Bar.
Tobermory is a nice little town. Cool place to hang waiting for the ferry.
Saw this shit on my way up?????
Let me know when you plan on doing it.
I might be in for part or all of it.

Was up there the following year with Deb and we stayed on Manitoulin Island for a couple nights.
Here is an inside view of the ferry. They run Semi's down the middle.

A pic of South Baymouth as we were leaving.

Had a great trip both times.
Would love to do the run over to Sault St Marie

Paul... if you mean what month, IDK. Depends on my work schedule... but due to it being further north and desire to camp it... I would say no earlier than June. And judging miles I think it would be a long trip... probably 5 nights. Again IDK, just playing with the idea.

Could meet you guys in Owen Sound.
Nice HD Dealer there just expect to pay$$$
The provincial Parks up there are pretty nice.
Clean rest rooms and showers.
Ground is pretty rocky though so a good pad or
air mattress is needed.

Pad is always packed if I'm camping!
