I thought some of you scooter / Big Ruckus fans might enjoy seeing this . I bought it out of an estate , it was all scratched up from banging around on the back end of one of these mega bus type RV's . I took it over to my Honda dealer in the middle of the winter to get a bid on taking it apart , and then putting it back together so I could have it re-painted . After a half hour of dickering with them , we agreed on $525.00 . They said since they were super slow they would cut me a deal . I thought about a lot of different colors and decided on black , like the blacked out Harley color . Today I finally got some time and installed a new $400 jcosta and a $400 Bitubo rear shock . Except for installing the mega trunk I had Happytrail in Idaho make for it , it's done .

Has a lot of miles

Just in case , no it's not for sale , this one stays in the collection .

I had time today , like what else could I do it’s 50 degrees and it’s been raining non stop for days http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/sad.gif, so I decided to install the mega trunk .
By the way this trunk is 4 inches deeper than our other two we presently have on my son’s BR and mine . I installed it on another BR and
tested it out for a few days and loved it . Since it was pre-installed this went smooth and fast . I am glad I had the opportunity to grab this BR ,
and I’m even happier to say it’s done . Carrying capacity is crazy big . Total cost of this project was $5,075 , they ran around 6K out the door when new .
The jcosta , the Bitubo shock , the luggage carrier and the mega trunk ran about $1,400 . To do one of these the right way may seam expensive
but 5K for this all finished out is DIRT CHEAP !

FINISHED http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/yelrotflmao.gifhttp://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/yelrotflmao.gifhttp://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/yelrotflmao.gif

I had a local graphics company reproduce the OEM graphics in yellow for a more professional look , it made all the difference .
It looks a lot better in person .

It's 4 inches deeper towards the rear than my other Big Ruckus that Ive had for 3 summers now .
This has worked out very well for me , it has allowed me to use the Big Ruckus for a good 99% of
all my transportation needs . The problem with bikes and scooters is you can't carry much on them .
I fixed that with these mega trunks , I built one just like it for my son and he loves his too . Below is
the one I've been using now for 3 years , my son's is identical .
