What I would like to see is a chopper/bobber with the r1 engine in it. always like the R1's but never had a chance to ride 1 yet.

i hear you there and seen a few done with sport bike engines. i'm really thinking of getting a gixxer or katana and building a chop from one of them.

After I finish my current project, Yamaha Warrior chopper, I'm thinking of building a sportbike motor chopper/bobber. Already have a frame and some other parts. Thinking either a older gsxr1100 or newer fuel injected gsxr1k motor.

ABI, thats what i'm thinking about doing, katana or gsxr based engine. the nice thing is the older oil cooled engines shared the same engine bolt spacing so swapping a 600 for a 1100 is no problem.

Plus being oil cooled you don't have a radiator to deal with. But I like the modernness of fuel injection so it probably all depends on what I can find that is priced right.

black frame and wheels. i used wheels from a 05 R6, sense the wheels were missing and i had them sitting around.
