Went up to the Duxford Airshow yesterday (couldn't get into the British Gran Prix). Thought I'd share some shiny, fast things.

A number of early (pre-war) hawker bipes flew. Identifying them really gets into the depths of aiplane geek-dom. Hawker-Peregrine, Swift, Osprey, Hawk, etc, etc.

Just like the girls from Pearl Harbor, except older, with more wrinkles; and lower standards.

Hey Paul,
Dad just bought some ube-expensive Works shock for the softail. The long stroke and small sweep area of the '87 shock isn't condusive to keeping 120 punds of air in. The Air ride's slick but not very fundtional. Now he's got a solid set that he can ride while they play with the air shocks. I'm thinking; replace the pump with a schrader valve and try sulfur hexaflouride...
They're both out charging around on the bikes. Greg loves the fact that he can stomp the Softy with his mildly tuned CB650 (but he can't quite catch me).
I'm suffering over here. I'm working with a brilliant engineer that rides a wicked K6 GXR1000. He eats a sandwich at his desk then takes off at lunch to tear up the country roads for an hour. Youtube Moto Gymkhana. There's a bunch of guys having a riot sharpening the saw with it on the weekends. Maybe a KTM Duke is in my future?.......

Have admired the KTM's for some time now, and they come in Orange also!
